“The Frank Calandra Jr. Foundation was created in honor of Frank Calandra Jr. by his children to help raise awareness and focus on the research of Diabetes. Frank, as you know, was deeply ingrained in our community and well-known for his philanthropic efforts. We need your help, as well as his foundation, to keep his spirit of giving alive!”

Saving Dreams Outdoors:

“Saving Dreams Outdoors non-profit provides a means for disabled veterans, youth, folks with health issues, deserving folks, and sometimes folks just down on their luck, to go on outings outdoors to shoot, hunt, and fish.

In 2018, the fledging non-profit hosted its first fundraising event at the Burnt Ridge Bow and Gun Club in Cowansville. In the successive years from then to now, SDO has hosted its flagship fundraising event at the Burnt Ridge Bow and Gun Club, as well as other events that have allowed the non-profit to sponsor many all-expense paid outings for its recipients, most of who would not have been able to do so otherwise.”

“The United Coal Foundation’s mission is to positively impact and inspire our local and global communities through the collection and contribution of charitable funds and by providing humanitarian aid.”

United Coal Foundation:

“Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent? To bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families.

Today, Father McGivney is being considered for sainthood.
